Without card type disclosure, this pricing structure is easy to hid fees. Often times, this is the marketing seen on the internet, where only one rate is shown. Understanding there are upwards of 300 different interchange categories or costs that a credit card processing company pays, hopefully will instruct that some “hook” rate and no discussion of any other rates or the discounting of the importance of those other rates will be a significant cause for concern.
